Il volume The Voice of the Century: The Culture of Italian Bel Canto in Luisa Tetrazzini’s Recorded Interpretations di Massimo Zicari, Responsabile Delegato del Dipartimento Ricerca della Scuola universitaria di Musica del CSI, ha appena vinto il premio “Awards for Excellence” dell’associazione statunitense ARSC – Association for Recorded Sound Collections.
Il volume, che è stato pubblicato dalla casa editrice inglese Open Books Publisher (Cambridge, UK) nel 2022 ed è interamente accessibile online, è stato premiato come la migliore “Best History” nella categoria Best Historical Research in Recorded Classical Music, 2023.

Avviati nel 1991, i premi “Awards for Excellence” di ARSC sono assegnati ad autori internazionali che pubblicano i migliori lavori di ricerca sul suono registrato. I premi sono assegnati ogni anno nelle categorie “Best History” e Best Discography”, oltre a Certificati di Merito come ulteriori riconoscimenti.
